"Early Neurological Stimulation" exercises will be finishing on Tuesday then we will move to holding and massaging puppies to help them associate being held as a good thing.
Week three will find puppies eyes completely open and trainers will begin conditioned emotional response exercises. Opening mouth, hugging around the neck, scruffing the back, pulling tail and squeezing paws can be a scary thing if puppies aren't conditioned to accept them. Rewarding with yoghurt immediately after each irritating exercise helps move their response from fear to, oh, if this happens I get something yummy!
We specialize in developing puppies for excellent family companions, therapy, seizure alert and diabetic alert companions. Click on "Our Socialization Program" to see what stages these puppies will be going through and the awesome things our trainers will be doing with them.
