  Hi Janet,

Sorry it has taken so long to give you an update on Buddy (Shaffer). Buddy has settled in so wonderfully in our family. He is so sweet and gentle with the kids . He potty trained real easily. He is following some commands like sit, paw, crate-up and lay. He is so smart and playful. He is adored by everyone who meets him. He is growing very fast. At his vet appt last week (17 weeks) he weighed 13lbs. He is the perfect addition to our family. We can't thank you enough for the love and care you and your family put into your dogs and puppies. I promise to send some new photos ASAP!

*I think Buddy has such a strong resemblance to his mother, Snickerdoodles (His coat color and texture are the same).

*My husband (who was the last one on board when we started our puppy journey) said the only thing he regrets is that we did not get 2 puppies!!!!

Thanks for bringing our family such added happiness,

Kristen Fasano, Massachusetts

Janet,

We are so in love with Grover (Gilford). We had company from Atlanta GA that wanted to take him home, a babysitter that loved him so much she didn't ask for money for taking care of him when we were out of town for a couple of days, and a mother that calls him her puppy to all the other folks at the assisted living home. Mom can't wait till he is old enough to babysit while we are grocery shopping. We are now secondary when we visit, "did you bring my puppy" is first. He has the best big brother, our 8 year old golden retriever, plays, wrestles, and helps train Grover.

Thank you for this wonderful, sweet puppy that will grow (he is growing daily) into an incredible dog that will be loved by many.

Here is Grover 3 months later, same VW Bug and owner, just a little bigger puppy, and he is only 5 months old. He's sweet, gentle and we are loving him.  Thank you again for Grover, he is a prince of a pup.

Here are some pictures.

Here is Grover at 7 months. We had a beautiful day running in the fall leaves at the park. He is as big and faster now then his big brother, an 8 year old golden retriever. They loved playing in the leaves. Grover doesn't shed, but does need to be brushed after running in the woods, which he loves to do. We call him sticks, for the long legs and his constant chewing on sticks. He remains sweet temperred and easy to take places. Grandma and her friends love him at the assisted living facility.

  Hi Janet,

We are sending along some of the latest pictures of Gunner (Maxwell). He is growing so quickly! At 14 weeks, he has learned his commands really well. He has been such a great blessing for us and brings us happiness each and every day.

Carly and I just wanted to send you a few updates on Gunner with some pictures for you from his 5 month birthday. He's doing extremely well with his training. Carly and I have taught him to sit, lay, and shake all using non-verbal commands (Carly calls it 'Doggy Sign Language'). Additionally, whenever he has to go out, he rings a bell that we placed on our back door so we know that it is time for him to do his business. He's turning into such a handsome dog that we forget he is still so young! We are quickly remembered of that when he becomes tired and curls up in your lap as if he was 20 LBS again!

Enjoy the pictures!

  Hey Janet,

Just a little update on our wonderful dog you raised. He's doing great and adapting well. He follows our dalmatian, Petey, EVERYWHERE, where Petey is there Jaydon will be too! He gets a 2 mile walk every morning to our local park where he gets to meet other dogs. He also has a vet appointment tomorrow for his next set of shots. His favorite playmate yet seems to be our cat, Bandit, whom has been ever so patient with Jaydon's puppy tendencies. He's getting so big so fast! Here are some pictures of him, including his recent first trip to the beach. He wasn't too fond of the waves coming at him but he loved the sand and sunshine. He fits right with the California sunbathers.

p.s in one of the pictures you can see my cat, another is him on his new "big boy bed" (after stealing Petey's bed numerous times we decided to get him his own). He always has to be at my feet even if just for a couple seconds, as you can see he loved the beach.

Thanks again!

  Janet,

He is doing great!!! We named him Tucker and he is a wonderful little guy and listens very well! We have had only one accident in the house, so what ever training you began at your home really has made it easy for us! I will send photos soon. Thanks again, we really enjoy having him as part of our family!

Hi Janet,

Callie is just great. We are going to keep her name.  She is sleeping all night long in the crate.  The first night she cried a lot, so we decided to put her crate in our bedroom.   She is so pleased just being able to see us in the room with her.  We are making great progress with her potty training as well.  I took her to the vet for a check up on Monday and she was so sweet and gentle.  The vet just thought she was a wonderful puppy and she has a great temperament.  We will be going back to the vet for her 12 week immunizations.  Here is a picture of Callie and I will give her a hug for you.   I’ll keep in touch.

  Hi Janet,

He is just fantastic. He's currently attacking his bed, just being a puppy. I had him at the vet the other day and we're setting up the next round of vaccinations for 3 weeks from now. We renamed him Burnie, and I'll send some pics along soon.

  Janet -

Good Morning! Shawna is doing wonderfully!! Everyone I know (including myself) has been calling her the PERFECT puppy!

It is truly amazing that she is sleeping throughout the night (from 11pm to 6:30am) without a peep. She has been almost perfect with housetraining and does very well playing quietly in her "daytime crate". She is also the perfect lap dog during quiet times and is very happy to sleep or just lie down for a petting session at my feet or on my lap.

Her first vet appointment last week was a real show! Shawna was very well behaved, but so adorable that the entire staff just fell in love with her. She was passed around so everyone could spend some time with her. They tried to tell me that they needed to keep her for "observation" for several days because they didn't want to give her back.

She loves her walks too...although, they take forever because every neighbor comes out to meet & greet her. She has had lots of socialization! She has met lots of kids, the trash men, the UPS guy, many joggers & bikers, big buses, a fire truck, the vacuum cleaner, the leaf blower, several cats and squirrels! She loves everyone & everything. Not a bit timid!!

I must thank you from the bottom of my heart for being such a phenomenal breeder and raising such a perfect little girl!

I'll be sure to keep in-touch often with updates.

Thanks,

Roger Beckman, Washington, D.C.
