  Janet…

Wanted to let you know that Nala (Cissy) is adapting to her new home just great. I think that having an 8 year old golden retriever here waiting for her helped a lot. She follows that dog (Abby) around everywhere. You can almost see her smiling in the photo I’ve attached. . . So far she is doing really great with the potty training too. She hasn’t had any accidents in her crate at all and she is going about 6 hours at night. Her adjustment is better than I had expected.

Thanks for everything and I’ll try to send more photos.

  Hi Janet.

I've attached some photos of Belle. She's getting more settled in everyday and seems to be comfortable...maybe too comfortable. :) She loves to play, enjoys our walks, and loves, loves, loves to cuddle...that's been our sweetest surprise so far. . . enjoy the photos. The one of her and me was on the first day of classes here at Purdue. She's a Purdue Boilermaker now!

Thanks, Janet

  Janet,

We just wanted to let you know that we are really enjoying Jordanna. She has such a nice disposition and everyone comments on what a nice puppy she is. We took her for her well check up at the vet yesterday. They said she looked very healthy. We already thought so anyway! She has been doing very well with the kids and they with her. Before we brought her home we were a little worried that our daughter would be afraid of her but as it turns out she is very good with her and has been learning some training tricks along with us. The potty training was a little frustrating the first day but after that she hasn't had any accidents in the house. Of course it helps that we watch her like a hawk most of the time! She does so well on walks and stays right beside us. She already did very well with the sit command thanks to you! Now we are trying to teach her to sit when we stop walking. She is catching on very quickly. . . it's just like having a baby around again!

We are so glad we found you and your puppies. She couldn't be a better fit for our family. I have attached a picture of our son sharing his blanket and a rest with Jordanna. And he doesn't share his blankets with just anyone!

Thanks again!

  Hey Janet!

Just a little update on Jaydon. He's doing good and adjusting well here! He's warmed up to everyone in the family. My father was quite surprised to walk in the house and see Jaydon with a blue bow sleeping on his favorite floor pillow. We have him scheduled for his upcoming shots in September and are enrolling him in puppy school in a couple weeks. The first couple nights were hard getting used to his potty breaks but he is definitely a joy to have around. My mother has had an ongoing illness for a couple months now and
Jaydon definitely helps keep her mind off things and enjoys the morning walks. I'll have some pictures to send you soon! Thanks again for such a wonderful pup! This is my first time raising a puppy, all the previous dogs I've owned have been at least a year before I got them. Its definitely an experience, but its worth it.

  Hi Janet,

Anubis is doing fine, he has become more playful in the last week and is eating good. I'm feeding him 3 times a day with a small snack in a Kong in between meals. His potty training is going very well. He has had just 3 accidents (pee) inside the house. I can tell when he needs to go out when he starts to walk toward the door and then looks at me. His crate training is getting better, he does not whine when I put him in his crate at night and sleeps through the night around 6-7 hrs before needing to go out, but he does whine when I put him in his crate during the day and he knows I'm in the room. He has learned to sit, still working on the other commands and he is doing pretty good on the leash.

He is very smart, he surprises me on how fast he picks up things. For the past couple of days I've had him sit before giving him his food, treats or toys and now he is starting to do it before I tell him to sit. I just want to thank you for raising such a wonderful pup.

P.S. I sent out the microchip registration on Sat and I have attached some more pics of Anubis.

Janet,

How are you doing? Just wanted to give you a quick update on how Anubis (Morrison) is doing. In the past 2 and a half months he as grown like a weed, he as gained about 25 lbs. He graduates from his puppy kindergarten class on Sat and is the top of the class even though there are some puppies that are a little bit older than him. The trainer has remarked on how intelligent and well socialized he is. He knows how to sit, lay down, stay, rollover, stay and come. He picks things up very quickly, I bought some bells and placed them on the door to the yard and within a day he figured out to ring the bells when he needs to go outside to potty. I've attached some pics from the last couple of weeks. Once again I want to thank you for raising such a wonderful pup.

Hey Janet,

We just wanted to touch base with you and let you know how Gus is doing. It has been a great week as Gus has been a tremendous addition to our family. We love him so much and he adds so many smiles to each of our days. It has been a challenge trying to train him, but he is slowly learning. We are down to only having to get up once in the middle of night. We gave him his first bath today and he did so well. He smells so nice. The vet said he was awesome and she thinks he will grow into a fabulous dog. We wanted to say “thanks” for everything you have done and for giving us such a great puppy. I also wanted to tell you that Gus is definitely warming up to our home and he is loosening up and showing his great character. Attached are some pictures.

Just wanted to send you a picture of Gus at 4 months. Things are going great! We really love him and enjoy having him around. We couldn’t imagine life without him. He is completely house trained and sleeps all through the night. We are putting a fence up in our backyard so we can let him run around all he wants. Once again thanks for everything!

He is sweet! He loves to be around us no matter where we are or what we are doing he is always nuzzling up to us!  He can sit, shake, lay down, turn and we are working on roll over. He still wants to chew on everything but is good about chewing on his toys once we give him those. We fenced in the back yard recently so that he can go out and run whenever he wants too! He is doing great!
