judges scoring
each particular
dog) are
needed to build
each level of
champion.
Three qualifying
scores at three
separate shows
(three legs) are
needed to
advance to the
next level.
CHAMPION
A Champion title
is achieved by
receiving a minimum score
of 189 points, awarded
in three
separate shows
(three legs).
The first
qualifying score
can be obtained
when a puppy is
between 6 - 12
months of age.
Dogs must be 12
months or older
to continue
acquiring points
towards their
champion title.
PROMINENT
CHAMPION
A Prominent
Champion title
is achieved by
receiving a minimum score
of 194 points, awarded
in three
separate shows
(three legs),
acquired after
their champion
title has been
received.
PAR EXCELLENCE
CHAMPION
A Par Excellence
Champion title
is achieved by
receiving a perfect score
of 100 points, awarded
in three
separate shows
(three legs),
acquired after
their Champion
and Prominent
Champion titles
have been
received.
PARADE OF
CHAMPIONS
An
"Invitational"
for champions
only.
First, second
and third place
awards are given
per breed group.
First place
winners of each
group then
compete for top
dog. This
is the only show
throughout the
entire year that
cash prizes are
awarded, in
addition to
ribbons and
