	~FIVE WEEKS OLD~

	8/03/10 It's almost time to choose your new family member! The puppies went to see Dr. Moore and he found them all happy and healthy. He mentioned that they were stout and a good size for their age. We are working on taking the pups' pictures and will be temperament testing on Wednesday. Individual slideshows of each puppy and their temperament test results will be in the nursery by Thursday morning so that you can look everything over. Calls will be made in order of reservation at the times we have set for each of you. As you are looking, write down any questions that you may have so that we can discuss and pull individual puppies out for me to compare for you. Talk to you soon! JW

~FOUR WEEKS OLD~

7/21/10

I had to smile when we took the puppies out for their four week old video, they all wanted to climb in my lap for attention. Sophie and Winston make such beautiful, sweet-natured babies! They have been vaccinated for the first time and are really eating their food well now. Check out the slideshow above for still pictures of them while we were out playing. ~THREE WEEKS OLD~

7/14/10

The puppies are growing into absolute darlings! They come up to us now with their little tails wagging and love to be petted. Softened food is now being offered to them, which they really enjoy! Of course they all have to climb in the food plate and get extremely messy, but hey, the stuff tastes great to them! While they are eating, we play our "Puppy Racket" recording. We help desensitize each puppy to strange sounds and prepare them to face the noisy world without fear. The recording contains dozens of assorted noises such as: thunder, wind storm, alarm clock, vacuum cleaner, lawnmower, power saw, buzzers, bells, children playing, dogs barking and howling, thumps, bumps, and dozens more to help your new puppy transition to their new home a little bit easier. They associate the loud sounds with the pleasure of eating, which conditions them to accept the common everyday noises that they will hear when they go to their new homes. ~TWO WEEKS OLD~



7/07/10 Sophie's puppies are two weeks old now and their eyes are beginning to open! They have been de-wormed for the first time and are gaining weight nicely. Enjoy this weeks video describing each puppy! JW

~THREE DAYS OLD~



6/28/10 This has been a busy past few days! Sophie is being the usual great mom that she is and is doing a wonderful job caring for her puppies. For the most part, they are quiet and content (except for when one crawls too far away and can't find it's way back as quick as it would like!), they are also gaining weight nicely. Most of the pups are ultra creme, a few look to be more of a light golden color. Their dew-claws have been removed and they have started on their "Early Neurological Stimulation" program. 6/25/10

It looks like Sophie is finished giving birth. She gave us a beautiful litter of six males and six females, all of them either ultra cream or light golden! Mom and babies are doing well, the puppies were fairly quiet and content last night which means they are all getting enough to eat. We will be rotating six pups at a time to make sure they all get to nurse without fighting for a nipple. Sophie has had a shot of oxytocin to help expel any afterbirth and a shot of antibiotic just to make sure no infection sets in. Contact Janet to discuss giving one of these beautiful puppies a great family to live with! JW

Sophie is in labor! I will post pictures of the birth when she is all finished and settled, four babies so far! JW

Sophie is getting very large and moves around pretty slow now! About seven more days and we will get to see her new little ones. I will post pictures of the birth for everyone to see. JW

5/25/10

Great news! Dr. Waide saw a nice large litter on the way during Sophie's ultrasound today! She is already showing and is doing well. I have moved her into the puppy nursery to get settled in for the birth, in about 33 more days. JW

4/26/10

Sophie and Winston have "gotten married" and are expecting little ones late June with pups ready to go late August! This pair produces awesome, gentle natured puppies with creme and light golden coats. I will be taking Sophie in for her ultrasound around May 26 to confirm pregnancy. JW
