Hi Janet,
We wanted to let you know how much we LOVE Kali (Makayla.) She has fit into the Taylor pack just fine, an immediate member of the family. She is SO smart and funny and so much calmer than our other Weim puppies. She learned to use the dog door right away...for the most part anyway. She and Dakota, our six year old Weim, took a little bit of time to figure each other out, but now wrestle and play like crazy. Hopi, our 12 year old, observes and 'keeps the peace' when she thinks the pups are getting too wild. She'll stand between them and make them stop rough housing. She is such a good mama dog!
The boys are in love with her, and she follows them everywhere. She is pretty good with playing with her own toys...except every now and then we'll see her streak across the house with someone's sock, t-shirt, or underwear. She knows she's out of bounds, because she tries to hide. It is so funny to see her when she knows she's got something she shouldn't. She tries to turn on the charm! She knows how to use those eyes!
I'll send some pictures, so you can see how big she is getting. Thanks again for raising such great puppies...
The Taylors, Texas (Chuck, Heather, Quinn, Zack, Hopi, Dakota, and now KALI!!)

Hi Janet,
I just got your email on my other yahoo account. Dexter is doing great, best dog I have ever had!! He is super smart, loves to play fetch, and eager please, everything I could want in puppy. You can tell from the pictures he is always by my side and waiting for the next fun thing to do.
I will get him UABR registered soon. I forgot to get that done.. He is up to date on all shots and healthy as can be.
Sorry for the large files, but I wanted to share pictures of my boy.
Thanks,
Joe Matthews, Indiana

Dear Janet and
Family,
Herbie (Stanford) is doing just great. The day we met you at the
airport to pick him up, he weighed #11.9. A week later he is
#16.5! He cried in his kennel only the first 3 nights and it
decreased every night. Now he just goes in and lays down. He is
very sweet and is either playing hard or out like a light. Vet
was impressed with him, too. Herbie slept through the whole
exam.
I am having
trouble getting my photos on the computer, but will beg my
husband to do it this weekend. He's a great pup and we are very
pleased. We will be in touch soon with new photos!

Hi Janet,
Just wanted share a few photos and to let you know that Saunders (renamed Bentley) is doing great. I can't believe he is 7 months old already. He has adjusted well to his new home and his three, two-legged sisters!! He graduated from puppy preschool (obedience school) a couple months ago and was the cutest, most well behaved little boy in the class!! He loves to take long walks through the neighborhood and play ball in the backyard.
Potty traing went well. He quickly learned to ring a bell we hung on the back door everytime he needs to go potty. Now he rings it all day long, just so he can go out and play.
We had our first snowfall last week and he was a bit scared at first. He was "dodging" the snowflakes as if they were going to hurt him. It was so cute. After he got used to them and romping around in the snow, we had a hard time getting him back in the house.
Bentley loves being with his family so we take him almost everywhere we go. He has brought so much joy into our family and we thank you for allowing us to adopt him.
We will send more photos as he grows. Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!!

Hi Janet,
It's great to hear from you -- you have been on my mind a lot lately. My girl is doing great! I have registered her as "Okefield Jazz" but she is affectionately called Jazz. She has a wonderful disposition and is loved by all who meet her. She is growing very quickly - now up to around 30 lbs. (need to get her weighed again) and full of energy. In her short time with me she has been up to our lakeside cabin in the interior three times (cowboy country), been to Calgary to watch some serious show jumping events (interested in horses but she didn't want to get too close), spent five nights at a dog hotel and was the darling of the hotel, and through all of this has put considerable time travelling in the car (SUV). She is a delight to travel with and has been a real trooper throughout!
We have obedience school on Saturdays and although she is still working on some areas, she seems to know when it's important and behaves accordingly. I suspect her responses are selective - there's a little bit of a rebel in her, and that's just fine. Although we go out for lengthy walks (1-1.5hrs) every morning and evening, I also have a professional dog walker/trainer who comes in during the middle of the day and takes her walking in the mountains with a pack of dogs, for another 2-3 hrs. So, she gets lots of socialization. She is strong, healthy and a very good looking dog!
She is currently teething but as soon as her adult teeth are in (should be soon) I will be switching her to a raw meat diet. All of the dog owners/breeders in my area are raving about it and insist that it will add years to a dog's life. I will be consulting a specialist on this diet over the weekend, so should know more later. . . and have continued with the vitamin tablets that you recommended. Although she is doing fine on this, I believe the raw meat will ultimately be better for her.

Hi Beverly,
Here are some pictures of Jazz hanging around with her new buddies at The Rex!
She did really well. She found a "Mom" named Bailey that has been here for a few months. She is the yellow lab in some of the pics. They played and played and played. Bailey LOVED her. She seemed to regulate her playing on her own after she got over the initial, 'I'm in Puppy Heaven" thing!
Hope you like the pictures and we all hope to see you both again.
Cheers, Barrie

Hi Janet,
Danny is doing
great. Our vet is very impressed, and he even took the business
card from Danny's packet and made a copy. He bought the practice
from our long time vet, so I don't know him real well, but I
think he is interested enough to contact you! . . . Danny is so smart. He
comes, and sits before I put down his dish. He has slept through
the night two nights in a row!!! He does well with the barn
cats. It is a chore to keep him away from our convalescing toy
poodle. Our poodle is sporting a cast and a cone around his
neck, so he probably looks especially interesting! We alternate
crate time so the poodle can rest.
Blessings to you
and your family. Thanks so much for such a sweet, smart,
healthy, energetic puppy.

Hi Janet,
How are you?
I am writing to
tell you that we renamed Sawyer Wrigley and he is doing great!
We taught him how
to sit, give paw, speak, and he is potty trained!
We are teaching
him more everyday, he is a very quick learner!
I will be sending
you more pics in a few weeks.
