Dear Janet,
Ivan and I have been meaning to write you to update you on Aspen (formerly Stewart). Over this past year, Aspen has grown so quickly and has brought so much fun into our lives. Although he is so big now, he still acts like the same little puppy that we brought home last February. He has truly been an amazing puppy! He was easily trained and is always quick to learn. He has a great friendly nature and gets along with everyone, including all other dogs. He is always willing to please and is such a sweet, cuddly guy. We have definitely recommended other prospective goldendoodle owners to look into Okefeild Acres due to our great experience with Aspen. We are constantly asked by other people what type of dog he is and where we got him. Everybody seems to love him! Aspen has definitely become a part of our little family! I have attached a couple of pictures of Aspen from this past year to share with you!
Happy Holidays!

Hi Janet,
I haven't corresponded with you since I picked up my puppy last March in Tulsa. She is Selene from Snickers and Harrison, aka MoMo's Lil' Miss Pebbles. She is a true delight. We have so much fun with her. She is very very smart and "talks about everything. She absolutely has to have the last word. Pebbles is very athletic and enjoys being outside for a good romp everyday. Pebbles is a complete joy!
Thank you for a wonderful companion.

Hi Janet,
Well time has really flown by. I personally was really busy with a lawsuit there for awhile and Kerry and Garrett our son took charge of caring for him and have carried the torch.
Garrett named Jordan to be called "Salem." Salem has grown to be about 40 lbs now. He has been regularly taken to the vet for check ups and has done fine. He seems really healthy, strong and full of energy.
Salem and Garrett are very close and clearly they both love each other. They have lots of fun and I think Salem is getting enough exercise. Fortunately we have a decent size yard for being in the city and Salem takes full advantage of it. It is entirely fenced in with an electric gate in the front.
Kerry and Garrett are looking at different obedience classes and trainers. I think they might start something soon.
I am pretty bad with pictures and not good at down loading them; but we will figure a way to send some. He is a handsome Weimaraner. He has stayed mostly grey with some mouse tones and really blue eyes.
Sincerely,
William Wicks, Florida

Janet,
Here are some photos finally of Koa. He is a wonderful dog. After the first few nights, he was already sleeping all night in his crate. He has been very calm since the beginning, but loves to play! We are amazed at how smart he is. He already knows how to sit, shake, lay down, speak and stay. The girls adore him and can't wait to see him in the morning and after school. He has settled right into our family and we cannot imagine life without him. We are amazed at how smart and agile he is. Koa's coat is so soft and sheds very little. He is the talk of the town everywhere we go. We get stopped and asked about him anytime that we are out. He really is very handsome! We couldn't be happier and want to thank you. You really do breed wonderful dogs.
Thank you so much!

Dear Janet,
We are totally pleased with Sasha. She has many facets to her personality. Last week we took her into the Vet's office, to my younger vet, who is totally picky and an expert surgeon, and he was really impressed. He said Sasha was breeding quality, and had an excellent temperament.
Sasha is a unique color. She is Silver Coal, with hazel eyes, which seem to be getting a little lighter with time. We provide new stimulation almost daily, and she is keeping up with it. Some days, though, she just wants to stay inside and eat and sleep and grow. She is already 30 pounds. Pretty soon we are going to take her to some parks etc. and try different leashes on her. She is confident enough to be left outside alone for short periods of time. She is almost totally potty trained.
Sasha sends her love to all of you and yours.
Sincerely,
Kelly Alexander, Colorado

Hi Janet!
Just wanted to give you an update on Sasha (renamed Molly). She has brought great joy to the boys and is adjusting quite well. She is always at my feet when one of the boys aren't around and is quite social. She is doing well crate training. No accidents today and at night she is willing to go on a puppy pad in the garage so she is making things quite easy for me. She does well in her crate at night. We had to put her in our room and as long as she can see me she is quiet the entire night with the exception of whimpering just once a night to go out. We are working on "down" and she is already improving on not jumping on the baby so much. She is catching on quite quickly. I was trying to teach her to stay out of the kitchen and she quickly figured out that if I saw her in the kitchen and then she walked out that I would give her a treat. After about doing this six times in a row I caught on and figured I will battle that in a week or two. She already paws or barks at the laundry room door when she wants to eat. The only issue we are having is that she eats around the dry food and just eats the moist food. Were you by chance wetting her food?
First vet check was great and everyone thinks she is just adorable. I will send some photos soon. I have some great shots of the boys with her.

Hi there! Just wanted to update you on Sasha (renamed Molly). She is adjusting well and loves to go for walks and car rides. My son said to make sure you know that she is potty trained and that she can sit, lay, roll over, stay, shake & spin. She has settled down quite a lot and unless we have left something on the floor, she does not chew anything. She puts herself in her cage at night and the boys often sleep with her in their beds. Even though summer in approaching, she has had very little shedding. Everyone thinks that she is so cute and when she wags her tail, her whole body wags too. Thought you should know, she is all of 14 or so pounds soaking wet so she is quite smaller than we thought she would be. My husband thinks that is a good thing though. Looking forward to seeing her upcoming litter (and secretly wishing we had gotten two).

Janet,
Sorry for the slow response. I totally forgot to send the form in that gets him registered. I will do it this weekend. As for Ash (that's his new name). He is growing like a weed. He has gained 12 lbs since he came home with me. He is very active and always has dogs around to play with and he is getting more and more comfortable swimming in the pool. The vet tells me that Ash will definitely be one of the bigger Weimaraners. He is a hand
full but I love every minute of it.
Here are a few pictures and again I will mail the registration form in this weekend.

Hi Janet,
I wanted to report in that our puppy Shaeffer, whom we renamed "Riley", is doing great. I have attached a photo of him at 9 1/2 weeks (15 lbs), when he first came to us, and 2 photos of him at 13 weeks (26 lbs). He is a real sweetheart, and stops most people on the jogging path, who want to ask about him. He's had one session with a dog trainer, so far, and the trainer says he is very smart and eager to please, so he will be easy to train. Our whole family loves him, and we will keep you updated on his progress.
Thanks very much for a wonderful dog.
