Just a follow up
note – Garrett seems to be adjusting great. He is a lot of
fun and loves to follow the kids around. I have attached a
few photo’s of our first weekend (I promise I won’t bore you
with anymore). He’s had a busy weekend but, appears to be
enjoying it as much as we are. He’s a great puppy. Thanks
again.

Hi!
Morgan and Bentley are
absolute loves!! We are having so much fun with them. What
wonderful additions to our family. They are the BEST dogs!! I am
so impressed by their temperament and socialization. They are
comfortable and friendly with EVERYONE we meet and they are such
loves! I have a feeling that Bentley will end up being an 85
pound lap dog! Morgan is definitely the more curious, active
one. We took them to the vet yesterday and they are all healthy
and happy. I was even impressed by that experience. Neither of
them were afraid or anxious/excited. They both just sat there
while the vet checked them over - they even took a little nap -
it was just no big deal for them!
The puppies are starting to
get into a routine. They really love playing outside with
us...they love playing anywhere! We've been taking short little
walks around the neighborhood. . . . We are working on the
routine so they don't eat/drink after 7pm and then take them out
for a final potty at about 10:00. We'll see how that goes. They
are still so little. It really is like having newborn babies!
I just can't say enough about
how wonderful these puppies are and how lucky we feel to have
found you. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!

Hi Janet,
I know it has
been a while since I wrote you, but I wanted to send you an
update on Lucas (Mercer) from Mercedes’ litter. In February, he
went and spent two weeks at Man’s Best Friend. While he was
there, he learned how to heel, sit, lie down, stay, and come.
His trainers raved about how quick of a learner he was and how
intelligent he was at such a young age. In March, we got about 6
inches of snow in a matter of hours, which in Texas very rarely
happens. Lucas wasn’t sure what to do at first, but he quickly
figured out how much fun it was to romp in the snow. We are
quickly approaching his six month mark, and we couldn’t ask for
a better puppy. He has an excellent personality and a very
laid-back approach to everything. He gets along great with his
kitty brothers, and LOVES other dogs… even if they’re not quite
sure about him. One thing is for sure, he comes from excellent
parents. We took him for his regular check-up at the vet’s
office last week and he weighed 56 lbs!! Even the vet is amazed
at how big he is. She told us that she has never seen such a
well-developed and large Weimaraner at his age, that he was a
gorgeous example of the breed. She told us that he could easily
be close to 100 lbs if he keeps up with the growth rate he’s at
now! All I know is that he is beautiful and a joy to have in my
life and our family. I’m not sure what I would do without him.
He is my constant companion, my grey shadow! He loves giving
kisses and has no idea how big he is, as he often lays in my lap
on the couch. I will continue to keep you up-to-date with his
progress. I attached some photos of Lucas so you can see how big
he’s gotten. I looked through his puppy photos last night, and
even I had forgotten how little he was when we first got him!

I
wanted to send you a couple pictures of Maggie (Makayla) out
of Mercedes' litter. She has brought many changes to our
life, being our first house dog, but we wouldn't know what
to do without her. She is very smart and loves to be around
people (I think she thinks she is a person most of the
time). We are enjoying her very much and can't wait for the
weather to warm up so we can take her to the lake with us.

Sorry it has
taken me so long to send you some pictures. Carter has been such
a great addition to our family! We have registered him as
Stanley - given that my boss' name is Carter and the pup is at
work with me every day! Stanley has been such a quick learner
and he always serves as great entertainment. He has fallen in
love with a plastic water bottle and loves to chase it on the
hard wood floors where it flails around. He will chase after the
thing pull his legs in and slide across the floor. I was
practically in tears of laughter watching him last night.
We have attached some pics of Stanley from the first week with
us. He was able to meet a golden retriever, Layla, and
absolutely loved being around her. In addition we had our first
snow the second night he was here. He loved it and spent the
morning trampling through it in the backyard!
Everyone in my office can't resist coming to say hi to Stanley
at least once a day. All I hear is "he is by far the cutest
puppy I have ever seen, and so soft!"
On Sunday we will be starting puppy prep class which I am sure
he will love, as he adores other dogs and people!
I will make sure to keep you updated and send pics along the
way. I also have a one minute video for you that I plan to
e-mail over the next week.

Here is a
recent picture of us with Stanley, on the top of Horsetooth
Rock, just outside Fort Collins. I have to say that Stanley has
been quite the entertainer over the last four and a half months.
Not only does he have more personality than any dog I have ever
met, but he is so smart... sometimes too smart! He was the head
of his class for "Puppy Prep" and was the only puppy to stay
seated in the same place while I left the room and roll over on
command. We just got him neutered and he weighed in at 37.4
pounds. He has been growing like a weed! Stanley goes everywhere
with me, work, errands, hiking, he does it all. On a recent hike
we were asked if he was a stuffed animal that came to life
because he was so cute and soft! He gets so much attention and
loves every moment of it! |

Hi! I
hope you had a wonderful Christmas and happy New Year!
Here are some pictures taken of Addison (Genelle)...we tried to
limit the number we sent...she is the star of our camera...she
is very photo-genic!
We love her so much! Thanks to the potty training video
and our little genius, she has been potty trained for over 2
months! She is so smart, the other day she took her leash
off the hook and brought it to us, dropped it and then barked.
We take her to Paradise Pets Day Spa (it's a puppy daycare our
vet recommended for socialization with other puppies) and her
best friend is a Weimeraner puppy named Buck...too cute!
She only goes about 2 days a week, but knows and looks forward
to everyday she gets to go. She has already figured out
which days they are, and follows extra close to me in the
mornings just so I won't forget. Everyone tells us how
wonderful and beautiful she is, she LOVES everyone and
everything...she tries so hard to make friends and to make sure
that everyone loves her (i.e., she rolls over and gives lots of
kisses-she has such a great heart, she is always such a
"giver"). We are so grateful to all the work and love you
gave her as a baby, she is the best puppy! Jeremiah and I
tell everyone that she is such a great dog because she was born
into a Christian family and therefore started her life feeling
the love of Jesus. |

Hi,
Chloe is doing well! She is happy and still spunky and very
lively. Her and our border collie mix are very attached. She
will be five months tomorrow and she weighs 23lbs, right
now, we will be taking her to puppy school soon, she still
very much has a mind of her own but she is sweet as can be
