Hi Janet,

I just wanted to send you a quick note regarding Grady.  Grady is an absolute joy! He's adjusting well and has already learned to sit, lay down, shake a paw and give you five. Potty training is going well, we are training him to ring a bell when he has to go out....he has already started to ring the bell by himself. I try to take him out after naps, eating and playtime which seems like about every hour! So glad I took the week off to be with him. I feel like I have a new born...well I guess I do. He's getting used to the crate and sleeps through the night now. He's been visiting family and friends the last couple of days and we stopped by my work to meet everyone in the office (including the dogs). Everyone said how cute he was and couldn't believe how calm he was for a puppy. The older dogs didn't give him much attention and were jealous, but I'm sure they'll make friends when he gets older. . .

I've attached a few pictures of Grady and will send periodic updates.

Grady is doing very well and I just sent his registration in yesterday. I have ordered a new crate for him and hopefully it will be here tomorrow as he has pretty much out grown the one he came in. He weighs about 18 pounds now! Grady is a smart little guy, I took him for a couple of short walks and he is getting the "heel" down already. I am amazed how well he walks on a leash because every time I take him out to potty he bites at it. But for whatever reason when we are walking he doesn't even attempt to bite at it. I think it may be because there is so much else going on that he's interested in.

Grady does real well in his crate during the day and has not made one mistake in it. He has also gotten over his separation anxiety which it great news for my husband considering he sleeps during the day. I have started bringing him to work one day a week and he has done excellent. He gets lots of attention and gets to meet new people, which is great for the socialization aspect.

Grady has his 12 week shots on Friday, I can't believe how fast the time has passed.

I have attached a couple pictures of him I took tonight

Here are a few good pictures of Grady I took today. His vet apt. went well, he had all his shots and didn't even notice. He's 18.7 lbs. I took him for a 2 mile walk yesterday and he did great on the leash, the only time he pulled was when he knew we were almost home!

Hi Janet,

It's been a while since I have given you an update on Grady.  Grady is about five months now and is getting big.   I would say he's about 41 pounds now.  He is getting wavier and is absolutely adorable.  I can't get over how little he sheds.  I take him to work with me once a week and he loves it.  Hopefully soon I can start taking him everyday, but I'm waiting for him to get a little bit older so I don't have to worry about him chewing on something.  He is a very smart little guy and such a joy to have around.

This past week we started to play hide and seek with him and it was a riot to watch him try to find my daughter as she hid around the outside of the house.  We would bring him around the back of the house and make him sit and stay and when Rylie called his name he would bolt up and wouldn't stop searching until he found her.  Many times he would run right by her (a hound dog he is not) as she hid under something.

I have attached some recent pictures of him.  One of my favorite pictures is of him looking out the window.  When my daughter leaves for school in the morning he watches her get on the bus.  We all love him so much, I'm not sure how we ever got along without him!

Have a great weekend!

Take care,

Julie Turner, Maine

Janet,

All is going very well. Barkley, as she is now known, is doing great and was very, very easy to adjust to her new home. Only a little whining for one night, and has been happy as can be with her new bed and crate since then. The neighbors occasionally watch their son's full size goldendoodle who is now one year old (and much larger than Barkley). They had her last week and Barkley was in heaven playing with the bigger dog...and slept for hours and hours after that.

Hope all is going well with you.  Everything is very good here, and Barkley is doing fantastic.  We love her.  Attached are a couple pictures of her, she has already grown a lot as you can see.  I'll send more later.

Thought you might like a recent picture of Barkley.  All is going well.

We have had her in some obedience training classes.  She definitely picks things up in a hurry, and is quite a popular puppy.  I have passed along your information to four or five other people who are absolutely in love with her.  Just wanted to let you know in case you start getting inquiries from the Springfield, Illinois area.

Thanks,

Stan Rupnik, Illinois

Hey Janet!

This is Lindsey Smith - you might remember my husband, Parker. We live in Charleston, South Carolina. We got our precious Goldendoodle from you last year - and she is the LOVE of our lives! We picked Chanelle from Chloe's litter and renamed her Boo. She is our first dog since we've been married and it has been a wonderful experience. She is very smart, she listens well, and she brings us joy everyday! I attached a few photos of Boo (the first two are from the day we picked her up from the airport...and the rest are more recent.)

Thank you so much for everything. You were a pleasure to work with from day one and we couldn't be happier with our puppy!

Hi Janet,

Here are a few photos of Romeo (Sawyer) on his first night at his new home. He was so calm and friendly when we picked him up at the airport. We'll keep you posted on his progress. He loves the little knotted chew toy and the rubber fire hydrant we gave him. We'll be buying more toys soon I'm sure. He loves running in the snow outside too!

Romeo (Sawyer) went to the vet this evening.  They said he was a nice puppy!  He's walking really well on the leash most of the time.  He is really being well behaved.  He also will sit when I tell him,  to the amazement of my neighbors and chases the bunny when we throw it and returns with it.

Romeo is really growing.  He is can certainly be very rambunctious.  We take him over to see the Sheltie that lives next door and they run like nuts in the enclosed yard.  He is learning his commands very well.  He can sit, lay, stay, high five / give paw, roll over, and he seems to be potty training very nicely.  He does have a fascination for the throw rug in front of the door, he almost rolls up in it.  Attached is a picture that was taken this past Sunday.  When we go to the pet supply store everybody just thinks he is adorable.  I just weighed him tonight and he tops off at 24 pounds.  I can't believe it.  Basically he has gained 2 pounds a week since we got him.  I can't wait to see how big he gets!

Hi Janet,

Here are a few updated photos of Romeo, aka Sawyer, born 11/22/2008. He has grown considerably and is doing very well. A real cuddler he is. We are working on his CGC, Canine Good Citizen. I'll let you know when he passes.:) Two of the photos are from the big snow storm we just had that dumped 21 inches of snow on us. The other is right after he was just groomed. He is such a handsome boy, we just love him so very much.

Thanks so much,
