Janet -
Copper (Colborn) is now officially settled in our home. We picked him up yesterday from the airport and the kids didn't know what to think. They kept asking if we could keep him "forever". When we got Copper to our house he ran around the backyard with the kids and everyone was so excited! Copper fits right in. He is so precious and we are loving every minute! Thanks so much for everything. We will certainly keep in touch. I am uploading photos now from yesterday and will send them this afternoon. Happy Mother's Day to you!

Dear Janet,
Look how big he became in one week! It is amazing what a little boy like him can learn within a week. He has been sleeping in his crate at night and during certain times during the day. He goes potty on a certain spot (most of the time), learned sit and wait and plays, plays and plays and loves to be with us and his grandpa Charlie as closely as possible. Charlie is not always welcoming but it has been improving very nicely and they even have no problem eating next to each other. I took him out during fireworks on July 04 - no fears.
Janet, he is just a joy for everybody including my mother-in-law who has been with him since his arrival. (She never had a dog herself and she never thought that as a human you could fall in love with a puppy that much)
Thank you again for this great companion,

Dear Janet,
We are off to a great start. We love the puppy and he is so mellow and reminds us of Hank. He enjoys being with us when we drink coffee on the patio and his favorite place to sleep is where Hank always slept. Probably because it's the coolest place in the room. We are working on potty training (housebreaking actually) and a few other skills. He sits and goes down promptly when told, and if he's not side tracked he comes when called. His main distraction is a rose bush that he is determined to chew on, so we finally covered it with a bucket. I don't want him getting hold of one a its thorns and damaging his mouth. He's very energetic but settles down when we pick him up. He likes to have someone around and lays on my feet when I'm sewing or quilting. We are so tickled with his temperament and personality. He gets along great with my two grandsons that live here in Guymon. I just wanted you to know that he's doing perfect. We are enjoying him so much and we are so glad we have him.
Bye for now,

Janet,
Well, we made it safely home. I must tell you that I have not had a crush like this since David Cassidy and the Partridge Family. I am in love with this fuzzy faced dog. He sticks to me like glue! He loves to play with my kitten Gracie. They roll all over the floor and she sleeps next to him when they nap. It is freaky.
Housebreaking is going well. He doesn't understand that the doggy door goes in AND out. He barrels in from the yard through it but just stares when Hannah goes out to the yard through it. He just waits for me to open the door. Another really funny thing is that he goes up stairs with no problem, but going down is a major ordeal. He acts like he is "stranded" in middle and cries for help. It is sooooo funny. I just sit at the bottom and let him work it out one step at a time.
I had forgotten how stressful, tiring, happy, funny, frustrating, chewy, poopy, goofy, darling, cuddly, rowdy and joyful puppies can be. As soon as I get over being sleep deprived I am going to REALLY enjoy it!
Hope you and your family are all well. We are getting into a routine around here. I'll send some pics this week.
Oh yes! I almost forgot. He was a HUGE hit with the family across the street with four basketball playing sons. Milo takes the basketball and "pushes" it to them when it rolls into the grass. He waits for them to miss the hoop so that he can get in on the game. They think he is "the bomb" when he saves them from having to chase it!
The vet, Dr. Steve gave him a clean bill of health and made me promise not to let his wife see Milo because then she will want one. I told him that I would make no such promise and promptly sneaked him into her office where she "ooohhhh" and "ahhh" ed over him. I showed her the minis on the web site and she is smitten.
Ok...gotta go weed the front flower bed. Darn all this rain! Take care!

Janet,
This is Kim, writing for the Moores. Millie (formerly Jessalynn) is doing great! She is growing so fast! She has quickly stolen our hearts and has become one of the family. She is learning new things daily, like how to go up and down stairs and how to wrestle with our shitzu, Cosmo. She loves riding in the car to take and pick up our boys to and from school and she has made a few appearances in Casey's dental office too! We've discovered her favorite chew bone and she has a certain stuffed monkey that she prefers as well! Her eyes are still blue and we love her vocal yawn! Crate and potty training are going well. We start training classes in two weeks. Attached are a few pictures. Thanks for getting her off to a great start.
Sincerely,
Casey, Kim, Carson, Kaden, Cosmo and Millie, Missouri

Hi Janet,
I wanted to touch base to let you know that Gessica, now Desi, is doing very well. She has absolutely stolen our hearts! She seems to be acclimating to us quite well. You were right, she is definitely very sweet and cuddly.
I took her to the vet this morning and she was very impressed with her and found her to be in excellent condition. Also, we've stocked up on all the grooming brushes you recommended and I wanted to check with you about the method you find most successful in brushing your goldendoodles.
Thanks for your help!

Dear Janet,
We wanted to give you a quick update on how Tucker (Galton) has been doing over the past few days. In short, he's fantastic! He was unbelievably good for the entire 600-mile drive back to Denver: he slept at our feet the majority of the time, never a single "accident" or carsick moment; we were shocked and amazed. Tucker's transition to his new home is going very well overall. He invariably comes when called, and is already starting to understand the concept of walking on a leash. The kitten is definitely getting used to his presence, and doesn't seem to mind being enthusiastically chased up a tree every so often -- he is just dying to play with her! Tucker seems to know Jason and me, and bounds over every time we call him, with a huge grin and his tail wagging so hard his entire backside wags with it. He is unbelievably friendly with everyone he meets, and all our friends are commenting on what a big, handsome boy he is! Tucker's good-natured energy is infectious. In short, we are already madly in love with him, and so grateful for all the hard work you, Lynnea, and the rest of your family clearly invested in this puppy. We can't wait to recommend you to all of the folks we know will love Tucker when they meet him.
____________________
Jason and I wanted to let you know how Tucker has been doing the past few months. Of course, he is already HUGE, and so handsome! Three weeks ago (approx. 3.5 months of age) he weighed in at 28.2 pounds, and I would bet he's already up to about 33. His coat is silky, yet fuzzy; the vet joked that he looked like a golden retriever that stuck his paw in an electric socket! We get compliments on his beautiful looks and his happy demeanor everywhere we take him.
On May 1st, Tucker and Jason accompanied me on a fundraising walk at a local park, to benefit the shelter where we adopted our cat - the first two photos I'm attaching are from that day. Jason has been working on basic puppy obedience training with him, and he's already doing great with "sit" and "heel". . . Of course, he's slightly less stellar with "drop it!" but he's clearly just the smartest little guy, and learns so quickly. He LOVES water and anything having to do with water (including mud), which is wonderful given the hot summer days we've been having -- we just hose him off, and he is happy as a clam!
Anyway, enjoy the photos, and there'll be more to come as he continues to grow and melt our hearts!
Thank you so much for everything,
Laura and Jason, Colorado

Hello!
This is the Falvo family and we received a Goldendoodle from you in August 2009. We are sending pictures of Maisy, for your viewing enjoyment. We really love and enjoy her and are very pleased with her disposition. She's a great family dog! I could probably go on and on about what a great dog she is but there are only so many ways to say that she's a wonderful dog. Anyway, enjoy the photos!
Thanks,

Janet,
I wanted to send you a quick email and let you know that Jaycee is doing great! He is having lots of fun going on puppy play dates with my sister's labs and also loves to chase around Ivan, our male chiahuahua. He is getting much more engergetic everyday and definately keeps my parents and myself very busy! He can sit for a treat and its half way potty trained. I am working on getting him used to a crate but he is not a happy puppy at all when he has to stay in there and it does get hard cause he certainly knows how to make such a sweet face!! I will send pictures over soon so you can see him. Thanks again. Hope all is well!!!

Hey Janet,
I wanted to drop you a line and give you an update on Geoffrey, renamed Murphy. He is a very active little puppy. He loves water and to chase his tail! We have had great success with potty training. Michele has already started puppy classes. She was stopped in the store last night several times with with people wanting to know all about Murphy and where we got him. One person even stopped her twice because he just couldn't believe how cute he was. He is so good with our two cats. Thanks for another success story.

Hey Janet,
Just wanted to let you know that "Garrett" is doing VERY well!!! We had a good trip back to NE, and we were all totally in love with him in minutes. He is the sweetest boy, and I swear he understands what I am saying to him!!! :D Believe it or not, he only whined for a couple of minutes last night at bedtime. I told him it was time to go to bed, he got into the crate on his blanket, and I closed the door (I blocked off the rear of the crate).. After a couple of minutes, he was calm and went to sleep. I didn't even have the leash on him and he was perfect. Now tonight may not go as well, but I have dreams that it will! LOL My son took him to potty at 1:30am, and then he slept until 7am this morning. And he didn't cry then, I just was getting up and let him out to go potty!
He's eating WELL, going potty well, and he is just as happy as can be. I know if I had let my puppies go, I'd worry about them and how they were doing....so I wanted to reassure you that he is GREAT, and happy as a puppy can be! We played with him several times outside today, I wish you could have seen him prancing around the yard, HIS yard that he now owns! haha He is hilarious with the cats, and they have not reacted as negatively as I expected they would. They pretty much ignore him!
I'm going to put him to bed soon, but just wanted to let you know how it is going. Perfectly. It's the best decision I have made in YEARS! I am so happy to have him, and you can be sure he will have a wonderful life here with us. I am following the Monks' book, and it works well. So far so good! There are very good techniques in the book. Thank you for recommending it to me.
Have a good week, and I'll keep in touch. If you ever want to email and ask me how he's doing, feel free to do so. I will be spending every day with him, and he makes me smile. He is definitely a wonderful addition to our family!
Thanks again for the GREAT puppy. You all are doing a great job with your pups. I'm so glad I found you!
Sincerely,
Diane McVey, Nebraska

Hello Janet,
I have always been meaning to write to you but time has slipped away. I wanted to let you know that our Goldendoodle, "Wilson", just turned four this past Christmas. He has been a delight to me and my husband! We have put him through school and he continues to go to be around other dogs for his playmates. He just passed a test to be a certified therapy dog who can go into hospitals and nursing homes. We live in Branson and always take him for walks at the Landing. We get stopped about every five minutes and asked what type of dog he is, he loves all the attention. We even thought about having cards made about him. He loves the water and rides on a boat and wave runner all summer. In the winter he plays and plays in the snow. He has never growled at anyone and is the best natured laid back dog we have ever seen. He is truly the joy in our lives!!! We are big advocates of Goldendoodles and think they are the best dogs on earth!!! We thank you so much!!!!!

Hi Janet,
We adopted Maise (renamed Bean) in January 2008. We meant to give you an update sooner, sorry for that. Bean is a wonderful dog and we just wanted to let you know she is doing great. She just celebrated her 2nd birthday in November. Attached are some pics of her in different stages of her life, and we also wanted to share one of our favorite photos of her with her brothers Miles and Jake from last Christmas. The picture of her and her brothers in the snow was just taken last week.
Bean is the warmest, sweetest dog we have ever owned. She is extremely loving, and has a spunky personality and adorable, funny facial expressions that make us laugh every day. We sometimes think she thinks she’s human, and we get such a kick out of it.
She has gotten along great with our other 2 dogs from day one. Bean has a lot of energy and loves to play, so she keeps them busy. She is the only female of the pack, and therefore the BOSS.
We couldn’t be happier with Bean or love her more, and we just wanted to thank you for sending us such a gem.
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Dear Ron and Janet,
My husband and I adopted our goldendoodle from Deb and George Dakota in July of 2009. She was bred at Okefeild Acres and was born one year ago TODAY. Deb and George couldn't keep Lucy because of severe health problems in the family. I just thought I'd let you know where Lucy is in case you keep track of the dogs. She is the best little girl in the world, is loved more and more every day and is happy, healthy and joyful. I've attached a picture taken a few weeks ago. Lucy is 45 pounds of fluff and energy!
Thank you for her!
