~ One Week Old ~

Fiona has given birth to seven plump and healthy babies! She had an easy delivery with Janet’s help and has been given oxytocin to expel any retained afterbirth and penicillin to ward off infection. She has had a bath and has settled in nicely with her beautiful puppies, she is being a great first time mother!

The puppies are having a great first week and spend most of the day nursing or sleeping. They now spread out under the heat lamp instead of crowding around Fiona to nurse constantly, this is a good sign that they are getting enough to eat and are content. Marisa and Chasedy are taking great care of the babies and they have started taking the puppies through their first stage of socialization. Next week expect to see a close up video of each puppy going through this first stage. Newborn pictures coming soon!

~ Ultrasound ~

Fiona and Jorge have been confirmed pregnant for F1b Toy English Teddybear Goldendoodles! The vet saw about eight puppies and Fiona is already showing a nice healthy litter! Both mom and dad have excellent temperaments and we are expecting these puppies to have social sweet natures and that soft, full Teddybear coat type that everyone loves.
