~ Excellent Family Companion ~

Meet Gabby! This gentle-hearted girl is as sweet as they come. With her calm, attentive nature and strong people focus, Gabby prefers being right by your side, always tuned in and eager to share in quiet companionship or calm affection. She’s an ideal fit for families with children or individuals seeking a more laid-back, loving companion to walk through life with.

Gabby is expected to mature to about 35–40 pounds and has a beautiful, cream-colored medium wavy coat that’s soft, full, and already taking on that irresistible Teddybear fluff we all adore.

She’s thriving in our extended training program, showing great progress and willingness to learn. Gabby enjoys Jeep rides in her harness, walks confidently up the crate ramp, and stays close and focused during leash time. She’s mastering her commands—come, sit, down, stay, take it, and leave it—along with good manners like no jumping, walking stairs with ease, ringing the potty bell to go outside, and resting peacefully in her crate for up to eight hours while keeping her area clean.

With her soulful eyes, loyal temperament, and steady progress, Gabby is ready to become the heart of a home that cherishes calm connection and gentle love.

Five Weeks Old

We are five weeks old and our little personalities are starting to develop! Our Teddybear coats are becoming full and we look pretty cute!

This past week we started beginner crate conditioning with a crate buddy so that we can slowly acclimate to sleeping in our crate. Marisa and Chasedy have also been holding us more, offering gentle cuddling, holding while walking around and inspecting my body/mouth examination, all preparation for handling without fear when we go to our new homes. Our trainers have also started conditioned emotional response exercises such as pulling our ears, hugging around our necks, ruffling our fur, handling and squeezing our paws and clipping our nails while eating Greek yogurt during each manipulation. We are learning to show a positive response, instead of a negative one so that we can handle the bumps and tugs that we might encounter with young children or special needs children/adults with my our new families. Janet thinks we are doing great in preparation for our upcoming temperament test and that our new families will love our sweet and playful natures.

Our trainers have also started conditioning us to the different moving objects that we will encounter when we go to our new homes. Getting used to shopping carts, wheel chairs, walkers, strollers, canes, etc. prepares us for any direction our training will take once we join our new famlies. We have also progressed from sitting in a running vehicle to short car rides every day and daily crate training has lengthened!

This Thursday, individual pictures and temperament test results will be added to the website then Friday our new families are coming to visit to make us a part of their home. Janet will be sending final adoption details and invoices then will confirm appointments. We look forward to meeting you!

Two Weeks Old

Gillian’s puppies are having a great first week and spend most of the day nursing or sleeping. Puppies now spread out under the heat lamp instead of crowding around Gillian to nurse constantly, this is a good sign that they are getting enough to eat and are content. Marisa and Chasedy are taking great care of the babies and they have started taking the puppies through their first stage of socialization. We are excited to introduce the puppies to you, enjoy looking at the first set of pictures and nursing video! - Janet

Newborns Are Here!

Gillian gave birth to eight beautiful and healthy puppies! She had an easy delivery with Janet’s help and has been given oxytocin to expel any retained afterbirth and penicillin to ward off infection. Monday she will receive a bath as she has settled in nicely with her new babies and they are doing great! We will be contacting everyone on the reserve list to confirm decisions on gender/color then we will post the first pictures the end of next week. We look forward to showing off the new little ones!
