Meet Hunter
Cheerful Family Companion

Hunter is a sweet, affectionate little boy who is very similar to his sister Molly in both personality and temperament. He loves being close to his people and enjoys gentle attention, cuddles, and companionship! Like Molly, he has a calm, loving, and easygoing nature that makes him a wonderful fit for families looking for a devoted and affectionate companion. Hunter happily settles in for snuggles after playtime and truly enjoys being held and loved on.

This handsome boy enjoys playtime and interacting with toys, especially when it involves exploring, gentle games, or spending time alongside his family. He is attentive, eager to please, and has a balanced medium energy level that allows him to enjoy activity while still being calm and relaxed indoors. Hunter would fit beautifully into a home with children, a loving couple, or anyone searching for a sweet and affection puppy.

This darling boy is learning all the right things for his age:

  • resting quietly in his crate for up to seven hours

  • using the litter box and doggie door to keep his living space clean and potty free

  • comes when called

  • walks up and down stairs

  • walks willingly on leash

  • is mastering impulse control against jumping on people and furniture

With his affectionate personality, plush soft Teddy Bear coat, gentle spirit, and impressive progress so far, Hunter is sure to fill his forever home with love, comfort, and countless happy memories!

Five Weeks Old

This has been a big week! Hailey’s puppies had another bath and trim, were microchipped and received their first parvo vaccination! Early exposure to water, blow dryers, and clippers is an important step in their socialization process, helping them to become confident and comfortable with grooming from a young age.

Providing these positive early experiences help set the foundation for well-adjusted companions - whether they are destined for therapy work or as a beloved family member. Enjoy the new pictures above!

Four Weeks Old

This has been a big week for the puppies! Their eyes are fully open, and they’ve just begun to hear.

Around 21 days, their ears open and they enter an important stage of development. During this early window, puppies have very little startle response to sound, which allows us to begin gentle sound conditioning in a positive way.

While the puppies are eating, we introduce a variety of everyday noises so they can hear, startle, and recover while experiencing something pleasant. This helps them build confidence and learn to ignore sounds they’ll encounter in daily life.

As they continue to grow, they will be exposed to sounds such as:

• Vacuum, force dryer, and clippers

• Doors, gates, and dropped objects

• Car noises and horns

• Thunder and wind

• Lawn equipment and household sounds

• Children playing and everyday activity

This daily conditioning will continue through each stage of development, helping prepare them for a smooth transition into their new homes.

This is going to be a big week for the puppies! Their eyes are almost completely open, and they’ve just begun to hear.

The babies are still a bit young so we will show you a video of them eating next week. Enjoy the new pictures above!

Two Weeks Old

Over the past week, the puppies have made wonderful progress! They’ve gained healthy weight, their eyes have opened, they’re beginning to crawl around, and they’ve received their microchips—so many exciting changes.

Chasedy has also completed their Early Neurological Stimulation exercises, and the puppies responded very well. Each day, they became more comfortable with the process, giving them a strong foundation for a well-balanced temperament.

This early start helps prepare them for a variety of roles, whether as a loving family companion or for more specialized work such as therapy or diabetic/seizure alert.

You can click the bold link to learn more about this process and watch a short video by author, trainer, and AKC judge, Dr. Carmin Battaglia.
