Liliya has given birth to 11 healthy F1 Standard English Teddy Bear Goldendoodles! She had an easy delivery, with Ron helping, and is settling in wonderfully with her new babies. She has been given oxytocin and a precautionary round of penicillin, and tomorrow she will receive a relaxing bath while her little ones continue to thrive.
Since this is a large litter we will be nursing the puppies in two groups then after they have gotten their needed colostrum (within the first couple of days) we will start tube feeding with goat’s milk with Nutrical supplement for added calories. We consider it important to be ahead of the game to help the babies thrive right from the very start. They are already of nice size and are getting in there to nurse, it’s so precious to see!
